Haenel Communication Technologies releases new Frederic Remington Art Museum web site
As their new web site states, "The Frederic Remington Art Museum, located in Ogdensburg, New York, houses a comprehensive collection of original Remington paintings, sketches and sculptures, as well as a broad array of personal effects and correspondence that serve to bring the artist and his vision to life."
As of September 13, 2006, the Frederic Remington Art Musuem website, at http://www.fredericremington.org, also houses a comprehensive collection of Remington's artwork. What's more, the site also sports a new online Museum Shop containing most every item that can be purchased at their shop within the museum's walls.
The museum initially contacted Haenel Communication Technologies as a result of their growing discontent with their previous online store, which was difficult to manage and relatively unflattering for the museum. While the old store worked fine, it lacked the means to effectively manage and promote products on an ongoing basis. The new store is easy to use, easy to shop, and easy to manage for the shop's manager, Debbie Kirby.
According to Kirby, "(the new online museum shop) has a new, improved look and tons of new items to browse!"
Haenel Communication Technologies' Principal Consultant, Bill Haenel, says the Frederic Remington Art Museum's new web site was a "labor of love".

Haenel says the best way to see the museum is obviously to visit it's facilities in Ogdensburg, NY. However, he says, "If you can't make it to the museum, or maybe you can't wait until the next time you can make it, visiting the Frederic Remington Art Museum's new website is nearly as great as being there in person. I'm thrilled to have it out there!"
